Amàre Marbella Beach Hotel gets Hip
May 20, 2018
This trendy Amàre Marbella Hotel is a hip adults only hotel, situated perfectly at the east end of Marbella, right on the beach front, affording stunning sea views and a short five minute stroll to the centre of town, where you will find stunning restaurants, chic boutiques, and fashionable bars, as well as a lot of history.
The minimalist decor provides comfortable and stylish accommodation and the light and cool hi-tech rooms are a refreshing change from the overpriced hotels on the Marbella strip.
The revamped hotel has an ethos of luxury, creating an ambient mood, the perfect spot for relaxation and pampering, all of your spa, beach and dining needs will be met here, we had a couple of completely luxurious days. Every single member of staff had a smile on their face and were at our beck and call, what ever our need, the service was second to none, absolutely flawless.
Our suit on the 9th floor was superb, not huge, but beautifully appointed, minimalist, fresh and clean, with everything you could ever desire, including a chilled bottle of champagne! The bed was sumptuous and inviting and with a view to the sea was a wonderful spot to relax and follow up on a few emails. The bathroom had super lighting and a strong shower with all of the most luxurious bathroom goodies. This suite was more than comfortable, it was a superb place to rest our heads. Watching the sunset from the balcony was a delight, we didn’t manage the sunrise though!
The Amàre Beach Club provides a simple but artistic dining experience of Mediterranean cuisine, delicious cocktails, natural fruit juices and comfortable sun loungers, while the fresh sea water pool is also a draw, slightly warmer than the sea at this time of year.
Before dining in the main dining room we enjoyed a couple of gorgeous cocktails in the Belvue Roof Top Bar on teh 8th floor, this is where the beautiful people of Marbella hang out, even the locals are impressed by the panoramic view from the terrace, and the mixologist is a master.
Following the roof top bar experience we were lucky enough to be dining in the Messina Restaurant, this restaurant won its first Michelin star in the most recent 2016 edition of the awards, as well as the “Restaurant of the Year” prize, given by the Marbella Academy of Gastronomy. In 2014 it was awarded the “2014 ABC Chile Sauce” prize for the best restaurant of 2014, and was judged as the 10th best restaurant in Spain for creative cuisine at Madrid Fusión’s Gastronomy 100s awards. Mauricio was recognised as the “Best Chef 2013″ and Messina as the “Best Restaurant 2012″ by the Marbella Academy of Gastronomy. These awards were well deserved, the dining was stunning, the service perfect and the restaurant comfortable.
Messina restaurant creates stunning dishes that combining mainly local ingredients, such as Malaga goat and fish and shellfish from Marbella’s coast, but only if the quality is assured. The dishes are presented with an elegant chic flare, providing flavours of distinction. The two tasting menus are without a doubt the best way to discover the personal cuisine of chef Mauricio Giovanini’s, whose work has been recognised on many different occasions.
When you’ve finished indulging in the fine culinary dining experience, lavished in the mixologists delicious cocktails and you have had enough sun, pop into the spa for a different kind of indulgence. The spa features the iconic Spanish Germaine de Capuccini products and treatments, offering a most pleasurable and bespoke service of facials and body rituals to ensure you leave with a true feeling of well-being. You can even arrange a massage on the beach in a specially enclosed beach marquee, listening to the lapping sea, and feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin.
